12 things awesome about AKB48 Best 100 Request Hour 2011: Day 1

This is an event that has been held every year since 2008 playing the most popular AKB songs as requested by fans who have bought a particular single. When I say songs I mean everything, stage songs, B-sides, Singles, SKE songs, SDN songs, sub-unit songs and possibly some advertising deals as well, I’m not sure, what I do know is that amongst the few that couldn’t be voted for, one of them was Love Wars, which I feel is a shame, I’d love to see a stage performance of Love Wars (Saiko, Koshiite, Isoke, Kimi-tachi yeah yeah). Ahem. Anyway, today I’m taking some good points from the first day. Also I should point out I’m only doing this because I happened to find it on Youku, the event was in January.
Anyway, in no particular order, we have:

Oshima Mai: Mai was one of the original Team A members, and graduated in 2009, and has something of a career still I believe. At the point I’m at as I type this, she’s appeared twice, In the first song, Kioku no Dilemma, which has the added bonus of featuring Noro Kayo, SDN’s captain and former Team K member. Mai’s second appearance leads me to :

Graduated members: Mai is not the only graduated member to appear, in fact she appears alongside every member of the original Team A (it looks that way anyway, theirs 18 members in it) to perform Dear My Teacher so a fair few graduated members in just that song. I’m not really familiar with any of the ones in that song, and the only other graduate who didn’t go to SDN I know definitely isn’t in the event, but it must still be great for the fans who know them.

Jurina’s face: This is literally only a couple of seconds, but during SKE’s MC, at one point while Rena (I think) is talking Jurina is making the greatest face ever, I can’t even begin to describe it.

Blue Rose: I find this one worth mentioning for two things, the members and the costumes. I find the costume choice odd for the girls I recognise and yet it works, so what do you know. The members themselves are Akimoto Sayaka, Miyazawa Sae, and Ohori Megumi, who I thank my knowing of to AKBINGO’s first 10 episodes having focuses on the release of her debut solo single. I can also confirm that these girls, including Masada Yuka were all part of Team K together.

Yokoyama Yui: I’m not biased, I swear. She’s appeared twice as I type this, in song 99, Jibun Rashisa alongside Mayu and Sumire, and as part of Theatre Girls performing Boku no Yell. She would have been a theatre girl then I suppose, she hadn’t made Senbatsu yet and I don’t think Not Yet had formed either. At this point I’m aware she’ll have a few more appearances though, given who she replaced in effect.

16nin Shimai no Uta: purely for the way we briefly get every member of Old Team K on stage (excepting a couple I think, but their substituted).

BINGO: For the sheer fact that the Kenkyuusei do a good job, and I can recognise a few future Team 4 members.

no3b: Takamina, Kojiharu and Miichan have 3 performances in the first day, but unfortunately Relax isn’t one of them. (Or is it fortunately?)

Ore Sanjou: During Mayu, Aika, Miku and Nakaya Sayaka’s MC, while talking about AKB Sanjou, Mayu performs Momotaros’ classic catchphrase, and then explains what it’s from.

Nounai Paradise: It’s an Old Team K performance, with two exceptions, one being you-know-who filling in for the same person she always is, and it’s pretty good.

Sakura no Hanabiritachi: My understanding is this became the graduation song, which makes it appropriate to have it being sung by graduated members, with Mai in the centre.

Ponytail to Shushu: Now ponytail certainly isn’t my favourite AKB song, but when it’s an encore being performed by everyone, you do have to appreciate it a whole lot.

I'll see you tomorrow (hopefully) with day two highlights.

AKB48: My favourite member

This member joined AKB as a Kekyuusei in september 2009, and the following happened in october 2010.

AKB48 are performing at an event, their are Kenkyuusei present, presumably as Unders but I don't know. Takahashi is about to announce the last song when a stage crew walks on to hand her a note, to her surprise. Se announces that there is to be a new member of AKB48, builds up some suspense, declares she'' be joining Team K, its:Yokoyama Yui. Yui comes to the front in tears, she's overjoyed and surprised, and Takahashi talks about how she's been doing a lot of work recently, including working as Mariko's under. Just two months after this, during a performance of Team K's sixth stage she was wished a happy 18th birthday.

Yui was born in 1992, which surprised me actually, I'm a terrible judge of ages, often guessing people are a couple of years older than they are, so I assumed this girl who'd caught my eye in the AKBINGO live performance of Flying Get was probably going to be 16, but when I find her article on Stage48, turns out she's 5 months older than me. Since finding out about her she's become my favourite member, though I honestly love a great deal of the members, and Tomochin and Chiyuu will always hold a special place in my heart. One notable thing I saw was a clip where several Team K members were doing a bungee jump challenge and a few had failed to jump, and had their 'names' taken (It might just have been the subs explaining badly). Yui was the last to go, and despite being terrified offered that if she did the jump, the members who didn't go would get their names back. She did it, getting the names back, but was in hysterics, tears streaming down her face, she hadn't enjoyed it, but she had done it though, which I felt was more important.

Yui has seemingly become quite popular in less than a year (Pre-2011 Senbatsu) which has probably been helped by appearances in AKBINGo, and even moreso by her mebership in Not Yet alongside Kitahara Rie, Sashihara Rino and at the time of formation most popular AKB member Oshima Yuko, Not Yet is currently on it's third single, PeraPera Perao, and I love it. She made Senbatsu for Everyday, Katsyusha, and then gave another tearful speech after being voted by the fans as 19th in the Senbatsu Election, with 16,455 votes, beating in the Senbatsu long-term members Masuda Yuka and Kuramoch Asuka. Yui also made Senbatsu for Kaze wa Fuiteru.

So as I said earlier I first found Yui in the AKBINGO lvie performance of Flying Get, where she was acting as centre (I was looking for ones with Tomochin centre, as I'd seen a few, and she was my favourite at the time. It wasn't until a wile later I learnt her name, but now she's my favourite member. Go figure.

Sim talks AKB48: AKBINGO sumarised

As you may have have noticed I’ve watched a fair amount of AKBINGO even before I started these reviews so I’m just going to talk about some of the more regular events.

In the early days, and presumably beforehand, there was a game where 4 members, with mouse ears and painted on whiskers, in order to win some prize (food) had to choose from one of 5 mouse holes, corresponding to one of 5 options, the aim either to guess which of the options was either the real one or the made-up one, if all 4 got it right they got the food, if one of them got it wrong all of them already in the holes had flour dropped on them. The one I best remember was the 5th episode of ‘AKBINGO’, where the girls had to guess which of 5 women Kyoto’s mother was, complete with us learning that his mother had left him at an early age and he’d gone into entertainment in the hope of drawing her attention. (They spoke for the first time in years just before recording.) This is also the only one I remember the girls winning. I also remember for one hint the prospective mothers were all asked to pick which member they would pick as a wife for Kyoto, and one of them (possibly even the real one) picked both Itano and Kasai (both have given name of Tomomi).

Another early game had a team of 4 girls compete against a team made of Bad Boys and two others, with the game being led by Oshima Mai and a man in a dog helmet. Each team was presented with an image with something missing, and if you guessed incorrectly what was missing your thrown into a pit of flour. One two-part instead had 8 AKB members compete against 8 members of Idolling!!!, which I best remember for involving Morita Suzuka compete against Tomochin, and not only did she not realise what was wrong with Itano’s one (thinking Subway should be Moss Burger) and then thought the Hollywood sign was missing a period, (it was an L). Sometime later the AKBIdolling!!! Single was released so yeah.

There was briefly a cooking battle, where two teams of 6, in sets of 2, prepared various recipes in 3 stages, sometimes with ingredients missing and having to guess what to use, they were then judged based on how well they turned out.

AKBest 10 featured 10 members demonstrating some talent of theirs, or rather we were told what 5 of them were (Kyoto in cosplay was always 10) and then saw 4 of them actually demonstrate the skill, before a special spotlighted skill, before the number one skill. This notably led to Kuramachi Asuka, after telling her stories about a fighter/wrestler was invited, by the wrestler, to watch one of his matches (his team lost).

There was also the fashion show, where a few members (it started as 4 but later was 3) demonstrated an outfit based on a theme, and a fashion guru would then rate how fashionable they were.
Danso has happened twice to my memory, one member is dressed as a boy, and then acts out a romantic scene with another member, and then the viewing members vote for whether they liked it. My greatest memories involve Kasai look like she was about to jump Mariko and just start making out with her (to be clear, Mariko was in danso), and one girl actually broke down in tears because the boy she’d just seen on stage didn’t exist.

Dodgeball battle is fairly simple, dodgeball, between two teams. The interesting part comes with the punishments, marked on the ball, that you get when it by the ball. Possibly the most common one is the bizarre food eating punishment, where they have to eat something odd. I remember one episode had Yokoyama Yui made to eat some spicy food, and Maeda Atsuko was reminded of when she’d had to eat spicy food (along with a few others) and ran straight for the water. Yui just takes the curry and eats it like its no-one’s business, so Maeda and a few others try it, and run for the water. The other was Tomochin, who was given what I think were some little bugs. She ate them and simply declared them delicious, but I’ll go more into that in a minute.

There is also the Moe game, where a girl will act out a scene alone, in an effort to make 5 men a little ‘hot under the collar’ I seem to remember two winners, one was Kasai as a nurse, the other was Mariko in a girl Santa outfit which she removed the top of (she was still wearing clothes underneath though. If you fail you get a punishment game with this guy who makes you do something really off-putting (what varies).

We also see Shojiki Shogi/Truth Chess, where two girls compile a list of statements about the other they think is true, and choose which questions to use in an attempt to prove three of them are true using a lie detector (the other person has to deny the statement is true). I remember Acchan once getting the statement she couldn’t right Thursday in English, I don’t remember if she got away with it, but she wrote it as Sathday. Another game, Mayuyu against Kojiharu ended with Mayu causing sadness to Minegishi, Yuko and someone else, maybe Takahashi.

The last regular I’ll talk about is the fast world battle which features the girls as rival chains Boss Burger (Orange) and Kiyotaki (pink). When it first appeared they were told a character, and had to form a word of some specific category beginning with that category, another starting with its end character in another category, and then again. Later we got one which involved staring with one character, and each of 6 girls had to take as many pieces of bread, one per character, so they cleared the tray when it got to the end, one piece had a specific character attached. There were also ones where the first 5 members are given a word, and have to represent it in an image altogether using either drawing or clay; if the 6th member guesses the answer incorrectly they get sprayed with carbon dioxide. Alternatively they have to give a hint of the word and the last member guesses the answer from the hints. One time the answer was Kashiwagi Yuki (and Yukirin was first, I think she said French Kiss) I think Ichikawa then said the answer was ‘next to me’.

There are only two one-time deals I feel like talking about.  The first was a segment revolving around Tomochin’s terrible sense of taste, as she claims everything she eats is delicious. Sata and Yukirin therefore took her to a Noodle shop with terrible reviews, which Sata admits he’d eaten at before, and the owner prepares two bowls of food. Yukirin says it’s awful, while Tomochin claims it’s delicious and even whips out a seal of approval.
The other was a one-episode feature of hypnotism, which featured Sae feeling like she was being pulled backwards, Mai first forgetting her name, and then giving a different name, the event I mentioned before involving Rena, her arm, and some catchphrase. Takamina was hypnotised so a food she’d always hated now tasted wonderful, even changing the taste while it was in her mouth. Maeda was hypnotised into finding a lizard cute (a fair few other girls ran away when she came close with it, she even put it on her shoulder) and then when she was snapped out of it she freaked out. And finally Mai was given an infatuation with Sayaka, before this was also done to Maeda, causing the two girls to literally fight over Sayaka.

The last thing to talk about is the prank segments, of which there have been 3. 2 of them were for New Year, though I don’t know if the middle one was, as I’ve only seen one prank from it, where Yuko brakes a guitar they’ve just been told is important Sata (Yuko was told to) and she then blames it on Takamina, who accepts the blame before Sata reveals the truth. The first one had the girls given a note from Bad Boys saying the girls were alone for the recording, while they were in fact, along with Acchan and Mariko taking bets on what members’ reactions would be to things, which Mai, helped organise. I specifically remember Yukirin being asked to read some lines from a card by one of the crew, and while he wrote his hair started slipping (he was made up especially for the prank), and Ohori Megumi’s phone falling into a bowl of ramen. This year’s New Year had Bad Boys, along with Tomochin and Mayuyu backstage, after Bad Boys announced their retirement from the show to the girls, with farewell speech and being given flowers and everything. A new comedy duo was brought in as the new hosts, while Miichan was working as a spy for the backstage lot. Among the happenings was Kasai being hostile to the new presenters, a repeat of the hair incident but using Kitahara, and the stage crew instead sweated profusely (again especially made up), with the bonus of the water making what he’d written illegible. They also had one of the duo’s tearful reunion with his estranged mother (having shown literally a complete recreation of the Kyoto’s mother story from 2 years prior) just to see how Takamina (she’s quite empathetic) would react, before announcing the guys brother was also coming, and we get an awesome shot of Sata’s silhouette before he’s revealed, and it’s here the girls realise they’re being played. Amusingly Takamina is resting on Miichans shoulder immediately before Sata reveals Miichan was working for them, causing Kasai and Takahashi to chase her round the studio.

Sim talks AKB48: A brief history of AKB48

Here I will only talk about how the group has progressed, I will save talk about the singles themselves for now, as well as when specific members joined.
AKB48 was developed in 2005 by music producer Akimoto Yasushi (Akimoto-Sensei or Aki-P), who was formerly responsible for groups such as Onyakodon Club. The first 16 members joined the group and became the initial Team A, performing daily at the AKB theatre in Akihabara, Tokyo.  The girls started with an audience of 7, but over a two month managed to fill the theatre. The first single, ‘Sakura no Hanabiratachi’ was released in February of 2006, followed by ‘Skirt, Hirari’ a few months later. Things really started to pick up though with the release of their third single ‘Aitakatta’ which is still considered the ‘song of AKB48’. Aitakatta was also the first single to feature members of Team K.
After a few more singles and the debut of Team B the group changed labels to King Records’ You Be Cool, shortly after the release of the first of two digital singles, ‘Baby Baby Baby’. It was at around this time, in 2008 that AKB48 gained their longest running show, currently titled AKBINGO. This time also saw the formation of SKE48, based in Nagoya, who started performing in their theatre on weekends. AKBs first single under You Be Cool, and 10th overall, featured as the centre an SKE member, possibly solely to promote the group, but she has been in most AKB singles, and every SKE single since.

2009 featured, amongst other things the birth of SDN48, an adult idol sister group, which featured both new members and AKB graduates. For the members to feature in the 14th single a new idea was pressed, the Senbetsu election, where fans could vote for their favourite member to be in the single, so the fans were able to choose the senbetsu for ‘Iiwaka Maybe’, although the members were pretty much guaranteed anyway. 2009 also saw the beginning of AKB’s 2nd longest running show, Shukan AKB.

2010 started with the debut of the first all AKB drama (a previous drama had featured the 3 members who would later go on to form no3b), Majisuka Gakuen, which ran for 12 episodes. During the year the latest sister group, NMB48 was formed, and also saw the formation of the 4th AKB team (excluding Team Kenkyuusei, the members in training), Team 4. The senbetsu election for that year featured a somewhat surprising result, and pre-empted the debut of the most fanservice ever seen in a music video, in ‘Heavy Rotation’. After the so controversial you can’t find it music video to ‘Beginner’, we saw the Janken (Rock, Paper, Scissors) tournament to choose the members for the next singles senbetsu, which ultimately resulted in only one ‘Front’ member making it to the senbetsu (or at least that I’d recognise), though two other Front members were added to the Senbetsu presumably to help it sell. I don’t know if being the centre for the single helped the girl who won gain popularity, but I think she’s at least the centre for the Under-single for the 23rd single.

By 2011 plans to expand the group overseas were announced, these have included the formation of JKT48 in Indonesia, the upcoming formation of TPE48 in Thailand, and the opening of an AKB store in Singapore. In addition, a fourth Japan based group, HKT48 is being formed currently. The Senbetsu election overturned the surprise of the year before, but the race for 1st and 2nd was far closer than that for 2nd and 3rd. The most recent release is, as I understand in aid of the earthquake relief effort, while a 2nd Janken tournament has led to the already completed filming of the music video for ‘Ue kara Mariko’. And that’s pretty much where we are.
AKB48 has also had numerous other television shows, at least one on-going radio show, a manga and 2 dating simulation games featuring the members. Each team has a ‘stage’ which is basically a setlist for songs they sing at theatre performances.

AKB48 Bimyo 8

I'm more confident that these are in the right order, also I know I said I'd do Shukan but thats really too confusing for me at the moment.

Our first sketch has one of those girls I see alot but can't name for the life of me teaching a class including Maeda Ami, Akimoto Sayaka, Kitahara Rie, Minegishi Minami and someone else. Te teacher asks a question and Minegishi raises her hand, causing the techer to flail about, hit the wall and fall unconscious, and Ami runs over to her. Minegishi laughs evilly, and boasts about it. Ami tries to stand up to her but Minegishi takes control of her arms, and she pulls er own mouth open against her will, the teacher attempts to stop er before being knocked unconscious again. Ami then attacks Minegisi using her own psycic attacks. The teacher gets up and brings the other girls to one side. Maeda stops, kind of exhausted, and Minegishi forces her to draw on her own face in lipstick, but in turn is forced to paint around her eyes. The two then start psycic wrestling, before actually wrestling and then falling on the floor. The other students leave as the teacher watches them continue to fight, each saying something to the camera.

The next segment starts with two schoolgirls, Kuramochi Asuka and one I don't know. seems te other girls in love or someting. Actually, watching a few seconds more maybe teir just excited about something. After talking excitedly a bit more another girl I forget the name of comes inand threatens Asuka, the other girl hiding. Aska then e-mails te girl threatening her some phrase over and over again. The other girl, who has been commenting on the goings on is spotted, and also threatend. Anoter girl (a teacher) shows up scaring off the yankee, only for the two to reject her help.

A mysterious figure carries a large case through dark halls, sirens blare in the distance. On the rooftop they crouch down, using binoculars finds is target below him, however he can't open the case, and pool out a hige bunch of keys, and starts struggling to find the right one. However the target gets in a car and it drives off.

We're now at an airport at the x-ray machine for hand luggage, Kasai on the monitor, let's the first girl through, but calls the second girls bag back. There are two canisters of deoderant, which are removed, she's then let through. Girl 3 is let straight through, and Mayu comes along with a suitcase, and she seems kind of nervous as it's put on the track. Kasai runs over to the other officer to whisper in her ear as the case comes back, the officers open the case to find a huge meal inside. Mayu then starts eating the meal.

The next scene is in a bar, Asuka is a patron watching as the bartender prepares a drink, and talking with him. A yakuza down the bar pushes a drink across to her, followed by a piece of meat, and attempts to make himself seem wonderful. Then he offers a bowl od carrots and something else. Then a straw bundle, followed by what appears to be a fakir.

We now come back to our assassin, he finds his new target. He picks out the right key, and unlocks the case, only to find his gun in pieces. He rushes to put the gun together, but the target leaves.

We're now in a dojo, and Sae is adressed by her kohai (Sashihara and Yui). The two seem to want her to train them, but she refuses, eventually terrifying them into unconsciousness. Sae's pone rings, and it seems like the dojo will be closed unless she has students, so she takes them on as her students just because. She however keeps on having to make them do poses to send to her sponsor to show their position relative to her. However they get fed up and leave, she chases after them.

We end with our assassin again, another new target. Opens the case, takes out the assembled gun, but then has to answer the phone, it seems to be his girlfriend, however she then walks into view and he's trying to avoid her noticing her, allowing the target to drive away. Se might also have broken up with him.

AKBINGO Summaries: 111116

So I'm still doing this. Not that it matters much but hey, it's something to do. We're reminded of a few highlights from the last episode, and then a reminder of who is in this episode, I can only identify 3 by sight still, and I'm sure long term fans of AKB can guess who 2 of them are.
So running from left to right, front to back, we have:
For AKB: Miyazaki Miho, Maeda Ami, Oya Shizuka, Matsui Sakiko, Fujie Reina, Nito Moeno, Sato Sumire, Shimada Haruka, Takeuchi Miyu and Ichikawa Miori.
For SKE: Oya Masana, Matsui Rena, Takayagani Akane, Kizaki Yuria, Hata Sawako, Kuwabara Mizuki, Ogiso Shiori, Hiramatsu Kanako, Kimoto Kanon and soem girl who can't be identified.
(It's interesting to note that while the SKE members are all mixed up, the AKB girls seem to be organised into teams except Myao, which is probably cause shes been there the longest (unless she hasn't).

The first event is a continuation of last times, the girls, in their cosplay outfits and sat in the booths are asked a question and if they all give the same answer they win the round. SKE goes first, and all of their answers are different, so they lose. AKBs is a question with a word missing, apparently about tourist destinations, 3 of the nurses say Tokyo tower, and Ichikawa said a longer version, but Shimada said something completely different. SKE then get another question, which only two of them give the same answer to, so again fail. The police women (no idea who it is, sorry) sings a line, which I guess is from a song by whoever she put. AKB get another question, 3 of them give the answer Fresh Lemon, but the other two are totally different. SKE get another question, possibly about Matsui, which Matsui doesn't get to answer initially, but does afterward. AKBs question is about Shimada, and works the same as Matsui's. In the end neither team has any points.

The next section starts with a comparison (cuteness based?) between Ichikawa and an SKE girl, and then we get Ichikawa head butting the girl (It was planned), another girl puts Rena forward for it, and Rena ... barely reacts.

We then get another game, this time 5 members go into the cubicles, and another 5 members have to work out where one of them is just by a body part. Starting with AKB, the same girls as before go into the cubicles, being led in around the back. They all reveal their right arms through the curtains, and the girls inspet each arm in turn. The arms then dance to a bit of music. The girls are looking for Maeda, and decide shes in booth 2. The curtain parts and it is, in fact, Maeda. For SKE the other 5 girls who hadn't already gone go round and into the booths, before revealing their right legs. This time the hint is to test the legs' reactions to tickling. Again the chosen hiding spot is booth 2, and their right.

In this weeks news, we're first given information about AKB48s 24th single Ue Kara Mariko, Not Yet's PeraPera Perao (love that song), and then treated to the music video for French Kisses latest single.

Sim on AKB48 #2: AKB48 Bimyo 7

Note: I would probably go over Shukan AKB's latest episode, as it's the second longest running AKB programme, but it was the second part of a 3 parter (I think?), so I'll leave Shukan a while.

I don't really know what Bimyo means, but thats the title apparently. I also don't know how long this will run for, but it seems to be a comedy show acted fully by AKB members, I enjoyed the 6th episode (as I type the only one I've watched) so I guess I'll do tis one as well. And then watch the prior 5. I also don't lnow if the order I talk about these is their airing order, as the whole episode doesn't seem to be uploaded this time.

The first Sketch (I guess) starts with a real freaky looking introduction, Before we get Akimoto Sayaka? in rags as a boy while another girl gives a voice over. Sayaka wakes up and as his wife, Kitahara Rie and child I don't recognise stand over him, they then go to eat at a surprisingly nice looking table. They're zomvies apparently. Kitahara happily stabs Sayaka with his fork, but it's no biggie. She's then stabbed after she makes a joke. We then get sudden;y serious when the wife reveals they've got a letter, apparently sent in 1811. Her continued talking upsets the other two, I think Sayaka's character dislikes whoever sent the letter. His wife and child leave and he falls to the floor upset. He then realises some chance he has, pulls out a mobile phone, and calls someone, possibly the person wo sent the letter (Maria?) and mentions it's been 200 years. It seems though he's only been a zombie for 70 years, and was something else for 5 years, though I may be confused. He then calls a Naomi and realises it's been 300 years. (I think they're former girlfriends, maybe the letter was from one as well). He then calls another number, only to find he's talking to Kitahar, whos in the room. He then apologises, but she leaves again.

Our next clip starts with a woman (Takajo Aki?) talking to her manservant? (Yokoyama Yui) and Yui is blunt to her initial question. They continue talking and Yui just carries on in a monotone voice. He leaves, maybe to do some cooking, and Aki's husband, Miyazawa Sae walks in, and they talk briefly before Aki notices a mobile with an e-mail which ends with a heart, and accuseshim of having an affair, Sae denies it before Aki blatantly doesn't slap him (it works though) into the wall. She then sees his eyes are staring right in front, he's dead, Aki's shocked, and we see Yui stood at the back of the room. They talk, Yui still emotionless and Aki distressed, with reference to the consequences (the police were definitely mentioned) and some talk of how much jail time she could be looking at. Aki begs for help, and Yui grabs a piece of meet, holds it over Sae and drop it (I think I saw the face move) as well as painting paw prints leading to the body, to make it look like a dog mauled him. They argue about it working briefly, Yui then grabs a horseshoe print, and they talk somemore. Sae then gets up, asks whats going on, and has Aki slap him again, he falls again and Yui starts the conversation where it left off. Aki eventuall walks off and grabs a knife, holding it to her stomach and talks about what I think is her guilt and she can't go on, as Sae gets up again. As Aki says she'll go to hell Sae laughs about how scared she is, and goes to try to hug her, and Aki, scared of the zombie, stabs him in the stomach with the knife. I think he's dead this time. Yui carries on with the emotionless speak, as the realisation of the murder again hits Aki. Aki is shocked and just stabs herself in the stomach, Yui then calls the police, reporting either a murder-suicide or his jealous murder of the pair.

Our third sketch starts with Sae, and two girls who I can't name calling something which is really cute, while a dragon and raccoon (I think, can't name the girls) talk about being jealous of who they're talking to. As they carry on complaining and being sad the raccoon gets an idea. They pull off some pose, but the girls still call to the unseen creature and so moping resumes. They have another idea, do some introductions and a sweet pose, but are still ignored. They do a joke but are still ignored. After another go they resume moping. 'Ara-chan' then comes up from the camera, he's either a seal or a bear. Taking off his bear helmet reveal Yui (twice in one episode, damn). They talk, and then have an idea for a 3 man performance. The focus of the girls remains with the Ara-chan though, and as he waves at the girls the other two express their sadness and start to walk off, try waving to seei if thats acknowledged, then hold each other sadly. (Also, turns out this was the last sketch.)

The next sketch starts with Miyazaki Miho (henceforth referred to as Myao) hosting a game show with Shimuda and someone else behind her, while the contestants are other girls I'm not familiar with. The first question has something to do with Japan, Glasses girl answers, apparently mistaking several characters used in the question for others, and gives the wrong answer. We move onto the next, or rather the exact same question, which the other girl answers with 'yes, thats right', and it's the correct answer. The second question (having something to do with Fuije Reina?) is answered by the same girl correctly. The 3rd question is also answered correctly by the same girl, meaning she wins, to the dissappointment of the glasses girl.

Our last sketch opens with Maeda Ami (I think, I really don't know though) entering a beauty salon, she's invited to sit, but notices some odd figures already there. Minegishi Minami (Mii-chan) is a samurai, I can't tell who the second one is, and the third is Sayaka with a blond wig. She's then handed a booklet of styles, with some quite bizarre ones present. (I think the others have ones from the booklet as well). Ami says she wants hair like Kitahara Rie, but the women just shows her a proffesor look. Ami wakes up to have her hair in a samurai styling, shocking her. She tries to protest that this isn't what Kitahara's hair looks like, only for Kitahara to walk in with the exact hairdo. Kitahara talks briefly to the other customers, before talking to the stylist, and I heard Sashihara mentioned. I'm guessing Kitahara's hair is supposed to be styled like Sashihara Rino's hair then.

Again if anyone reading this notices errors please tell me.
