On it's 6th birthday, the 8th of December, AKB48 and Google+ have announced a partnership wherein fans will be able to follow their favorite members' activities. This is of course just my approximation. The first announcement of the video was Akimoto-Sensei announcing this project will affect AKB, SKE, NMB, HKT and even JKT, though I can confirm at the moment only profiles for members of those first 3 groups are up, in addition there are no profiles for Kenkyuusei or Team 4, and probably some others. A man from google saind some than yous, and Takahashi, Shinoda, Maeda, Sashihara and Takajo said some words, and mae the first contribution to the new project by taking a picture together on an android they'd been handed, which was then shown on the big screen.
